Ben Barbic, a lifelong resident of the Bay Area, has been immersed in real estate from a young age. Following his education at St. Mary's in Los Gatos and Archbishop Mitty High, he began assisting his father in the real estate business at the age of twelve. This early exposure ignited his passion for the profession, leading him to pursue further studies in sound engineering and psychology. Joining the real estate industry in 2003, Ben has since enjoyed a successful career, marked by continuous learning and growth alongside his father, Alan. Guided by family values and a dedication to the Barbic real estate tradition spanning three generations, Ben takes pride in upholding and evolving the family legacy.

In addition to his real estate endeavors, Ben is a multifaceted individual with a thriving music career, having achieved international recognition with features in films and airplay. An avid sports enthusiast, he passionately supports the Golden State Warriors and engages in half marathons, weightlifting, and pickup basketball games in his leisure time.

Having resided in Willow Glen since 2012 with his wife Angela, son Ken, daughter Gianna, and their cats Leonardo and Samantha, Ben is deeply rooted in the community and actively participates as a parishioner at St. Christopher's in Willow Glen. With over two decades of experience and a commitment to merging expertise with fresh perspectives as part of The Barbic Vaughan Team, Ben remains dedicated to delivering exceptional service and exceeding client expectations.
Finding Fulfillment in Family and Business Ownership
​Hailing from various Bay Area cities, Peter Vaughan embarked on a diverse journey that eventually led him to real estate. Initially pursuing accounting at Santa Clara University, he found himself captivated by the dynamic nature of sales and decided to pivot his career path. Over the course of 12 years, Peter immersed himself in the high-growth tech startup scene, bearing witness to the remarkable evolution of companies ranging from venture capital-backed startups to publicly traded giants. This invaluable experience instilled in him a deep understanding of business dynamics. However, Peter always dreamt of business ownership - the financial opportunities, the autonomy, and the ability to craft his dream life through hard work, great decision making and creating an excellent client experience.

Driven by a passion for real estate investing and developing, Peter transitioned into business ownership, recognizing it as a pathway to not only financial independence but also personal fulfillment. Teaming up with Ben Barbic, they forged a successful partnership, combining their complementary skills and expertise to establish a quickly thriving brokerage team. Peter brings to the table a keen eye for the financial implications of buying and selling real estate. ​

Beyond his professional endeavors, Peter treasures his role as a devoted husband to his wife Brooke and father to three young daughters Grace (5), Paige (3) and Blake (1) - finding balance and joy in family life. He currently resides in the Rose Garden in San Jose. Outside of family and work, Peter loves running competitions, competitive basketball, reading and learning about investing and financial markets, and wine.
